Our Aim
Today’s information is just a click away. But is all that information credible? Is it structured the way you want it? Exams can be extremely taxing for a seafarer. The tussle between meeting the demands of the surveyor and the precision of our knowledge base can be nerve-racking. Our aim is to categorize and simplify the information, thus, bridging the gap between information and knowledge.
THE INFORMATION WE NEED IS NOT AVAILABLE. THAT WE WANT IS NOT WHAT WE NEED. THE ONE WE HAVE IS NOT WHAT WE WANT.

About Me:
Who am I?
My name is Ashutosh Ghate, a Marine Engineer, who began his career on ships back in 2009. It was an auspicious Marathi New Year { Gudi Padwa } that marked a beginning of a New Era for me. I am a sailor with over a decade of experience.
Back in my school and college days, I was more involved with computers. Kind of a tech guy to my family and friends. With this in mind, I entered the blogging space. A constant thought back in my mind to create something on my own which can help the whole seafarer community.
DG Shipping and MMD back when I started my career as a complete offline experience. Like me, thousands of seafarers used to feel that their work can never be completed within just a day. Examination booking lines and those sleepless nights outside of MMD.
By 2018 many of the MMD and DG work was digitalized and the herculean task was easier to handle. I noticed due to this change many non-techy people were clueless about how to get things done and then there was a rise in agents who would charge extra money just for doing simple stuff.
I provide guides and procedures to get your DG and MMD work done without involving agents and save your hard-earned money.
At Mariner’s Space, I believe that separating knowledge from data is the key aspect of growth. Mariner’s Space is my contribution to the seafarer’s community
